# Skybox Blending

Another feature of the plugin is the ability to switch and blend skyboxes.

Currently only support for cube skyboxes is implemented. In the next updates, the functionality will be expanded. Also, please let the author know your needs. Ultimately, the functionality of this component can be significantly expanded.

Open the **Skybox Blending** scene. It's in the **Magic Lightmap Switcher ➞ Examples ➞ Scenes ➞ Skybox Blending** folder.

Go to the **Magic Lightmap Switcher ➞ Examples ➞ Scenes ➞ Skybox Blending ➞ Skyboxes** folder. This folder contains two cube maps and a material with a skybox shader assigned.&#x20;

Assign a material in the **Skybox Material** field in the Unity **Lighting** window.

Assign a **"Morning Sky**" cubemap to the material **Cubemap** field.

Set the X angle for the "**Sun**" light to 12, Color Tmperature to 3500 and save the preset in the manager window. Call it Morning.&#x20;

Assign a **"Midday Sky**" cubemap to the material **Cubemap** field. Set the X angle for the "**Sun**" light to 70, Color Tmperature to 5500 and save the preset in the manager window. Call it Midday.

Start baking and storing. Once baked and stored, switch to the **Switching/Blending** tab and move the **Global Blend** slider. You will see how skyboxes change in real time.
